Dr. Mahmoud Goodarzi is an accomplished physician specializing in Dermatopathology and Anatomic Pathology. With a wealth of experience and a dedication to education, Dr. Goodarzi has made significant contributions to the field of pathology.
Dr. Goodarzi’s academic journey began with an MD degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Iran. Following this, he pursued post-doctoral research in immunology at Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology at the University of Massachusetts. He furthered his expertise through fellowships, including Surgical Pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology at Weill Cornell Medical College, NY Presbyterian Hospital, and Dermatopathology at Tufts University. He then held the positions of Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Tufts University and Assistant Professor of Pathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Goodarzi’s professional accomplishments extend beyond his academic pursuits. He is board-certified in Dermatopathology and Anatomic Pathology, reflecting his commitment to maintaining high standards of expertise and patient care. He is a member of several esteemed professional societies, including the Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
